Jay Heartwood is a multi-media illustrator and comic artist working out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. They graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2020 with a BFA in Illustration and Digital Art and Design.
Since graduating they've been running their art business (Formerly Ring of Bees, now Computer Bug Studios) selling shirts, stickers, zines, and more! They've attended many events such as CAKE (Chicago Alternative Comics Expo), LICZ (Lansing Independent Comics & Zines), and various other local zine fests and pride markets.
As of 2025 they have self published over 8 mini comics, illustrated album covers, designed posters and painted several large scale murals. They're always looking for their next awesome project!
